BillKen 227
Thought I might sew some elastic bands into my TW Retrofit and have these sit between my CP and my body. Not sure how long they'll last, but it can't hurt unless it is really heavy. I had a heat related event last year (got to see the ER and get some IV fluids)...so any solution is better than none.http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001P3035I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Edited July 20, 2015 by BillKen
Tksjewelry 407
I wouldn't sew them into your cp but if you want to seew them in try adding pockets into an undershirt. Or even making a pocket thing that you can slip over the straps of the cp when you need it.
BuckeyeMike 116
Do a search for Rite Temp Cool Pads or some variation of that. We've talked about it on here quite a little bit. I own two of those icy packs and just ended up using gorilla glue to secure a Velcro strip to my fabric CP. It holds great, doesn't come off with sweat or while I'm washing my CP, and holds the ice pack just fine. I couldn't tell if the Flexi Freeze has a hook-n-loop (Velcro) backing though. If it doesn't, you'll need to fabricate a sling or pocket for it.If you want more info, PM me. I can take pics and let you see my rig.
