Out at first, replay review

Ok .....

This looked like something that should be questioned because of how close it was ....... and.....just by the replay info that I was seeing from the broadcast, I thought to myself, .... safe ..... I don't see info in the replays CONFIRMING this call ........ is it me?

I don't see anything confirming the call, but I sure don't see anything reversing it either. Call stands to me - and would have if called safe on the field.

Any adjective need not be applied. I'm fairly certain that the call stood (as Out) because it wasn't definitive enough to overturn it. Had it been ruled Safe, and reviewed, that call likely would have stood too.

And the Tigers are the ex-SWMBO's favorite team... so I don't care.

I think it was a great call too. Call is confirmed IMO at the 1:35-ish replay. Ball is causing the glove to move (which is the criteria used to judge these by the MLB in replay) before the foot is down.
