New mask on the way.

Just ordered plus pos zero gravity in silver. I really liked the wide opening. Gonna give it a try. I'll post pics in mask porn and review after I have a few games in. BTW I have black TW pads for it also.

I like my charcoal one that I copped last year but I do wish it wasn't poly powder-coated. A standard metallic powder coat would make it look phenomenal but I guess for $60 I won't complain too loudly

Here it is. +POS Zero Gravity, silver with Team Wendy pads. The ribbon is for my son. KDVS. Also you can see +POS has toned down the logo on the strap.

So is this how it goes? Haven't taken a mask shot all year, get new mask, Take 3 to the mask!!!! First got the throat extension and guard. Second square in the middle. Third , glancing blow off ear guard. Only mark was a little blue ink from the ball on the bar above right eye....

Only thing i felt was the throat guard came unsnapped and rubbed against my neck. The square shot got a lot of oohs and aahs, but i didn't even feel it.....

Where did you order your mask from?? I'm having issues ordering through +POS directly..

I ordered it from Ump-Attire, but it was last spring. Seems like others are having problems ordering them also.....

Thanks for the order and mention. We are trying to carry some +POS items.

Currently we have 18-24 quantiles on silver black masks, CPs and clean sweep plate brushes. Not sure if and when more will be on hand so now is the time to order +POS items.

Those brushes are the best. One tip, though: Take a file, and round off the sharp corners on the scrapper sides. They come really sharp, and can (Oh, they do) rip pants or ball bags.

 

But they're light, thin, and work great. I trim 3/4" off the brush, just to make them fit a little better in the pocket of my left ball bag.

I hate to reopen an old topic, but are these masks better than the older +POS masks that everyone said you'd be taking your life into your hands if you wore? I don't really have a true lightweight mask in my rotation and would love to add a +POS of they are safer than they used to be. I know Ump-Attire sells them and I trust that they wouldn't sell an unsafe mask, but I wasn't sure.

The unsafe ones were the first SUL series--not metal, but a composite.
