Pretty awesome on both ends.  He's obviously a baseball guy so he gets to use his celebrity status to do something awesome for himself and raise some money.

EXACTLY!

While I don't find him funny, .... I feel he's a good person, and there were some REALLY funny moments yesterday.   He took one right down the middle and gave a stare to Rob Drake, and Drake raised his hands at him like "what!"  LOL

He hasn't been funny since 1996.  I don't see how selling some uniforms he wore will raise much money. Especially since it has to offset the cost of him flying around on a helicopter from stadium to stadium.

Would have loved to hear more of that conversation between Drake and WF. Met Drake at a clinic this winter and his sense of humor is second to none.

I was at the final game he was in, Padres vs. Dodgers, where he pitched and played right. He also gave a hilarious speech after the game.

It was a media circus, to be sure, but good fun was had by all.
