Okay, we have a lot of fun at the expense of announcers, and rightfully so.

So lets have a little more fun at their expense  :insertevillaughhere:

Nominate your least favorite announcers of 2014 and since many will be team announcers let us know which team they are for and if you have any examples of their incredulous behavior like video from the team site or MLB.com.

Later the top nominees will be voted on to name the worst announcer of the year.

Have fun and keep it clean...

Gonna sound like a homer, but Buck Martinez. Man cannot pronounce anyone's name right to save his life.

And even when he does get the name right, he's got the player wrong.

There's even a website dedicated to his stupidity.

EDIT: Guess I should say, he's one half of the TV crew that calls Blue Jays games. Pat Tabler is the other guy, and he's not so bad. Still miss Jamie Campbell calling games, though :( Buck is much more suited to being a twice-a-broadcast analyst than working every pitch.

Buck has the most irritating voice, too.

Completely agree.

Even worse than HWSNBN is Suzyn Wladman, the "color" commentator for the NY Yankees. Here is a lovely little piece she vomited upon the world when Roger Clemens returned to the Yankees in 2007.

Or maybe this one where she is crying over the Yankees season ending:

Not to be outdone, she is paired with the dopiest partner in all of baseball, John Sterling.

For your listening pleasure:

You would think an organization with more money than God, better commentators could be found.

Whole heartedly agree. These two are absolutely atrocious. I enjoy listening to ballgames on the radio, but these chumps make it unbearable. At least you understood WHY Rizzuto was a grand champion homer, but these buffoons make Joe Buck listenable. Still trying to figure out how Sterling wrangled his way into the team photo at the White House back in '09. If you look, he is in a spot that you would not think the team radio guy should be in.
