He was saying, "Lance, if this call doesn't get overturned I'm going to miss my dinner reservation!  It's the bottom of the 10th for crying out loud and we're down a run!  I need outs!!!"

My guess would have to be regarding how Gibbons initiated the challenge. He didn't go all the way over to the umpire who made the call and inquire or request. Cederstrom is the crew chief, and he was situated at 2B. It's the 10th inning, meaning... can there be a challenge? If the crew chief decides to review it, then that's his prerogative. Perhaps Maddon was irked at just how easily or nonchalantly Cederstrom granted a review when the original call was (more or less) clearly correct.

And my goodness, does Cederstrom like his seeds. ;)

From the replay rules at mlb.com:

With respect to other reviewable calls (including calls at home plate in which the Crew Chief has not requested Replay Review of a potential Rule 7.13 violation), beginning in the seventh inning, a Crew Chief may, in his sole discretion, conduct Replay Review upon his own initiative or upon the request of a Manager who has no remaining Manager Challenges.
