JV baseball two area rivals 3-0 1:26 minute game.  It is so nice when pitchers throw strikes and fielders make plays.  I am probably jinxing myself for my next game.

Totally jinxed yourself.

 

I had a JV double header two weeks ago. The first game ended 1-1 in 8 (they agreed to go one extra) and the second game ended 1-0... I was out of there by 7 when the first started at 4.

 

I told TWO PEOPLE... My next game had a 31-12 final.

Had a F/JV double few days ago. Freshman game HT F1 throws no hitter (gave up one run on walk and error.) VT throws good game too and we are in the lot in 1:25. Made the mistake of talking about it with JV coaches pre-game (also both team's last game of the season.) Bottom 2nd kid swings at inside pitch and hits ball directly into his left eye and had to be taken to hospital by EMS. Both teams agreeded to end the game after this (7-0 through 2nd anyway) so we still got out early but scks to end season that way.

Not Ump related, but just a proud dad.

 

USSSA 11U, 6Inn game.

I'm keeping score, my son is pitching for HT. After 4, no score for either team. To start the 5th I notice my son hasn't allowed a hit, or allowed a runner on base; Perfect Game! He gets the first two batters out. Don't want to say anything to anyone in case I jinx him. Next batter hits a solid grounder right up the middle. There goes the no-no. Kid ends up giving up two more hits and one run. We score twice in the bottom of the frame. Shut VT down in the 6th and go on to win 2-1.

Great game, and proud moment.

Baseball Gods got revenge.  7-7 through 7.  Home team loads bases with 0 outsn bottom 9.  @ conseceutive R3's get thrown out at home on passed balls.  Visitors score 10 in the 10th.  3:42 minutes to finish this one.
