Why are they even wasting time arguing this crap, it's blatantly obvious what happened....easy call. Another silly argument over what's basically an instructional video on how to make this call.

Dude, I meant the manager for SD, he's out there wasting everyone's time on a call so easy, so obvious that it could be used to teach what out of the baseline looks like. I don't know how or why you thought it was meant against you, that certainly wasn't the intention at all. I really appreciate and enjoy the videos.

No problem :) You're a good dude, even if you do have the misfortune of residing in such a pisspot of a state. It's well known that no one gives a damn for the whole state of Michigan, you know.

I agree with the call, but I would accept an argument the other way as well.  At .53 at the moment they "try a tag attempt" the runner is straddling the foul line, his farthest point away from tag when he tried to avoid it is more or less 3', maybe a little more, so I don't agree its an obvious out of basepath call, we've seen guys a lot further out of the basepath not called.

I think it's much more than that....at the time of the tag his left foot is on the infield grass, when he avoids the tag both feet are well into the foul grass. Looks like 6 to 8 feet to me.

Not true, his left foot is still partially on the dirt at the moment of the tag attempt, his momentum carries him further out but that is after the tag attempt when he is past the fielder, measure this against his right foot that is already in foul territory when the tag attempt is made, thats what I measure by.  Am I wrong?
