POOR effort by F2 there.  I know it deflected off the batter's jersey a little, but F2 wasn't catching that pitch no matter what.  I hate 2 seamers - they are the most likely to produce a direct shot like this.  I've been hit like that, but not with anything approaching 92 mph.  OUCH!

I know the likelihood of being hit by a pitch in the Bigs is much less, but that's why I "try" to remember to tuck my 'slot' arm a bit .....

I do the same thing.  Both of my hands are tucked under my thighs which angles the boney part of my forearm away from the path of the pitch.  These are some of the most painful shots, IMO.
