I am impressed that the MLB Umpires for today's (Memorial Day) games are wearing DigiCamo hats. I know they've gotten into the spirit of Mother's Day (pink armband) and Father's Day (sky armband) and their charitable campaigns, but this has been a day on the schedule I (and I'm sure others) have wanted to see MLB really get behind.

 

I still think BigUmpire's idea of blue DigiCamo shirts (or perhaps black & charcoal digicamo??!! Ooooo) ala USN uniforms would be just out of this world, but I suppose we have to start somewhere, and these hats look impressive enough.

 

Now, how do we go about getting one? :) (Especially a short-billed PU version?)

I am trying to get someone to make a few BUT no luck so far.

I have my jerseys custom made SO I may get my tailor to make some.

Problem is getting the material.

What the problem with that? That's the point. In the spirit of Memorial Day. It's only 1 game.
