Great, i say Again Great positioning on this play.

That would be deep B in 3,4 man (unless forced to C in college due to LH batter) with R1. Still see some pros in C.

Out by a mile and a half!

You must be seeing I'm not, because I certainly don't have him conclusively out. I'd be more inclined to say he was safe.

Position depends on left/right handed batter or where the umpire feels most comfortable.

U2 had the best angle. He blocked our view of the best replay. Throw was perfect. Kudos to the Giants broadcast team there...Honest and correct commentary.

in 4 man it doesnt make a difference which hand the batter is. It is up to them on which side they are on.. 2nd base side or 3rd base side. But i can show you the benefits of the 2nd base side or "deep B".. the B side is way better and if shown properly you will never work on the 3rd base side again.. ( unless directed to )

The "Deep C" position is by far my least favorite position or mechanic in 3-man umpiring.  I detest it.

I have him safe easily.  But I am a Phillies fan.

Could be worse, could be a Mets fan. :) Nothing is worse than that.
