And I did see an MLB umpire using TW Pads (back in 2012, on a Saturday Fox broadcast), and the white TW lettering was not blacked out.  I don't remember who it was.  It is certainly a very small set of lettering.

Has anyone blacked out the white part on the bottom pad on the Team Wendy's. if so what did you use? I was thinking about using a Sharpie but figured I'd ask first.

Wes,

I ask this in all seriousness: Why mess with perfection?

I would not be surprised if it was the same Fox affiliate that we were watching!

Team Wendy pads may be the best protection on the market but they are not the best looking. I figured I would try to improve their appearence by covering up their hideous logo.

I have TW pads. The logo is so small why worry. Got any white on your shoes?

I have NB 460s with a tiny bit of white and the all black Zig plate shoes (although I think I'm going to sell them, they are a little too tight)

I doubt anyone other than the umpire groupies on here would even notice - heck I have the pads (but not with me of course) and I couldn't even tell you if they had a logo or not - or where it was or what it looked like etc.
