Looks like the brim doesn't go down, it's just the way he turns his head. I'm not saying he didn't touch it but that isn't the clue.

Replays definitely appear he could have gotten him on the helmet. But definitely looks bad with the old out-safe, and you can see that was the managers only real argument

i'd have to see a synced side by side of both angles. He gets the helmet, but i think its after the hand crosses the plate. Tough to call though from video.
