Funny - I forgot to pack my base shoes last year, and my black golf shoes were in my car.  No one was the wiser.  I asked my partner after the game if he noticed - nope. 

 

They're just as comfortable as my NB 955s. 

 

BTW - I'm a Foot-Joy guy.

I did, once. No, they weren't my alligator ones, nor any other garish pair I have. Nope, simple black, athletic looking Nikes.

 

Golf spikes aren't meant for running, stopping, etc. I tore the plastic spikes out fairly easily.

 

Moral: Don't do it.
