I like this @BobUmp guy, I like him! What do you need multiple CPs for? Ohhh... are you doing those kind of games where you wear a second CP, backwards, upon your back? In that case, carry on.
BobUmp
LOL, tourney weekends, multiple plates, bad weather.. Although, that backwards configuration could help with any knives thrown from behind the backstop from "those types" of parents.....Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

So that we don't turn our chest protectors (read as Wilson rigs) into giant sponges.
Mister B
For those of us who live where there is weather, it helps to have 2. My V-Sport is warm, but on a spring or fall day in the high 40s, I'm happy to have the insulation. But I got the Schutt for days when it climbs into the 80s or 90s.
BobUmp
I just got the Schutt @MisterB. It definitely feels like its going to make a difference! I really like the plates and their locations, its a solid protector. Still need to train it and break it in.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

I read this as "for those of us who live where it is WARMER" and I was wondering what part of Portland you live in that is different than where I live at. Yeah I know, I realize know I phrased my comment poorly. It was more of an "in addition to" instead of "me as well."

Had some left over from the helmet and decided to try it on these used pads. The paint is flexible enough. If I really bend the lower pad inward- like in half, there are two hairline cracks in the paint that run vertically along with the middle velcro strap. But put into the mask, there is no sign of chipping/cracking. We'll see how long they last. If you were really worried about it, I believe all the companies produce some form of aerosol designed specifically for vinyl. But they were easy enough to mask off and spray.

BobUmp
It does! 2 differences are the top cap protector is not the same as diamond, and only on lower bar instead of two. Stk004
So I got a Chrome-Moly mask off here recently ( @acpar72 I believe) and decided to make it my "fun" mask. Something that looks cool but I might not end up using too often because the color would be a little out there. Boy was I wrong. I sent it off to Tony with the words "metallic bronze" typed up on the order form. I figured I'd get back a brown/gold ish frame that was awfully flashy and good for show. What I got, however, is this beautiful masterpiece that gets better and better the closer you look. Pictures don't do Tony's work justice this time, because the color is so subtle yet awesome it's hard to capture. Nevertheless, here it is but I promise you it's better in person.
Jdc03270
My new Nike TI with the rake chopped off and powdercoated Flat Soft Iron Metallic. With Tan Team Wendy's and an SSK throat guard also done in the iron color. And just kidding Got this bad boy from playitagain for .99 cents. Chopped the rake off and spray painted it. Now I'm debating sending the mask he just did for me back to cut that sucker off. This one will most likely end up at Tonys door step soon enough. But first, lets see how long the spray paint lasts.
