I actually high five'd a player in a tournament.

I was BU and a kid stole 2B in a close play, I called him safe, he jumped up sreaming "ya, ya, ya" and he popped up, asked for time to dust himself, wallked off the base, still yelling in joy and put up his hand up to me for the high five, and the idiot that I am I actually put up my hand half way when I realized, what the hell am I doing!! I started to put my hand down and he reached over and forced a high five on me. I looked around and I don't think anyone noticed. They got mercied anyway.

On the clip, how come U1 is making the fair/foul call on the hit down 1B, should this not be PU's call?

Oh ya, I forgot in MLB up to the dirt cutout is PU's call, past that is BU's

Optional mechanic depending on the crew. In this case, F3 is in, diving to the line, with a potential C / NC on a play where the winning run is busting home. PU likely had little / no time to move given how hard the ball was hit so U1 stepped up and made the call.

As far as denied high fives...

Working 1B for a season game where the home team was doing the lovable "bring all the kiddies in the crowd onto the field and let them run the bases between innings." About 50 kids come out and they're making their way around and one of the younger ones, as he's making his way down the 1B line, has his hat fall off, but the trooper didn't even realize it...until he got to 2B. At that point, he decided he wanted to pout and proceeded to walk the rest of the way around the bases, all upset. I went down the line and picked up the hat and walked to the plate to wait for him to get there to give it to him. When he finally got there, I held out the hat for him with one hand and had my other up for a fist bump. The little brat just snatches the hat away from me and walks away and I'm left hanging at the plate. PU is laughing at me and I'm looking around going "did that just happen?"; meanwhile, the home catcher has run out of the dugout to finally proceed with his pitcher's warm up and goes "I won't leave you hanging" and picks me up. As I was walking back to 1B, the visitors dugout were all giving me the gears over the situation: "you got stood up by a 4 year old kid!" etc etc

No that is not a MLB thing.. it is a crew thing. and with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs the base umpire takes the fair/foul past the dirt circle.. This is an advanced crew mechanic... and they do it in the MiLB's as well.

Just today in a Middle School Football game, walking off the field, a group of kids were looking for high fives saying "Good game refs, wouldn't be football without you!" I didn't want to seem like a jackass so I gave them a high five with a laugh.
