I ordered a bunch of Majestic shirts from baseballsavings.com a few weeks back. I now notice they have a "Deluxe Polo" for sale on their website (a polyester-cotton blend). Does anyone have experience with these? Are they any good? Do they shrink?

As far as I know, ....if it's $14.98, it's the polo blue and black standard ump jerseys ....

Ahh, sorry...

If you wash your shirts on delicate in cold water and hang them dry, they won't shrink.

Our Price: $14.98 (Black jersey, sizes Medium to 3XL available).

That's a good deal for that shirt.

All of the cotton is in the collar and sleeve trim. The body of the shirt is polyester like the Honig's, which is the shirt they most resemble.

So care for them like I said, and Scotchguard the collars first.

I wore the Majestic polo blues tonight for the first time. They are really nice. I don't care for the collar, but I Scotchguarded the collars/cuffs already. The material is almost exactly like the Honigs shirts. The thing I like the most is that they fit me perfectly. You have to really size up in the Honigs shirts and they still don't really fit right.

Oh - deluxe mesh... and "deluxe".... I hadn't caught that difference, but I didn't look at the powder and navy options anyway. I order a black jersey, so it's apparently the deluxe mesh. Oh well - when I receive it I'll get a post in here about it.

I can say one thing about the Majestic shirts that used the "deluxe" materials - where the collar and cuffs are cotton: THEY FADE.

I have a jersey that I got from an MLB umpire a few years' back... the collar is a distinctly different shade of black from the body (100% poly) of the shirt... the cuffs didn't fade quite as much, but the collar is almost a dark gray.

Thunder, You remember that MLB shirt I told you about - the one I got in that guy's 'Sample Sale' ? I just noticed that the tag in it reads "Season: Spring 2011"... .the tag also reads:

100% poly febble knit w/ wicking

Even if I don't wear it to work games (doubtful, since our guys still use the older style black jerseys with the collar and cuff stripes) - it would make a nice shirt just for every day wear (or playing golf or tennis, for that matter).

Yeah, it's wierd they have them separated and 2 different styles just in different colors...whatever.

I think you'll find these almost identical to the Honig's, except the collar material is a little different, as discussed..... I got 2 blues and 1 black .....

I ordered 2 of each color (1 for base and 1 for the plate) and love the fit. I was worried they might fit small. Because I live in Canada, the shipping would'nt have been worth sending them back.

I was wondering if it may be worth getting a few powder blues in the "deluxe" style. If the cotton is only in the trim and collar, it may be a possibility.
