Looks good. Personally, I prefer the silver frame. With that long of a throat protector, do you find it stiff to attach it to upper bars rather than hanging looser on the bottom ones? Does it ever wedge against your chest protector.

And does the sun shield actually do anything when wearing a hat?

I have heard that the shield helps keep your head cooler.

I've also heard that the refection it makes is a natural repellent to most species of bird, so you're less likely to get crapped on when you're wearing a sun shield.

Well Kevin: I was going to go with a white background but I couldn't find anything. LOL :-)

The sun shield does help if you are wearing a plate hat but if I have my combo hat on it doesn't help at all. And I have not had a bird SH*# on me yet!

Looks good. I think your mask is worn a bit too tight though. IF you take a direct hit it will be like getting punched in the face. In my humble opinion. Yes, I know I might be starting another S**Tstorm but my opinion........ your mileage may may vary.

There is no reason to wear a sunshield, thats what the bill of your hat is for.

It keeps the sun from baking the bill of my hat, which seems to keep me a lot cooler. It works well in all my masks, and to me, makes a difference.

A couple nights ago I took a direct shot to the lower left side of my mask. The mask went flying up in the air and to the right. I caught it with my right hand as it was coming down.

I got to use my new make yesterday. Loved it, lighter, better view and it comes off easier with the new harness I get. I ended up doing my Tebow at home plate with it when I took a foul ball off my cup... 8-/

I’m looking for a good low profile chest protector with SMALL shoulder pads. I’m about 5’6, 160 with an athletic build. I currently wear the Champion Body Armor, which is a good fit, but the shoulder pads are too big. I’ve tried the Wilson Gold, but the shoulder pads still seem too big. Maybe I’m trippin’, but I think I look like a linebacker. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was wondering if you guys and girls out there could help me out in figuring out Wolf's mask. I know it's a Nike ti but in the picture the frame looks a little wide at the edges. He's my favorite umpire and he wears one of the greatest masks around.
