I don't do much 3 or 4 man, but ...... what's the proper positioning for this play at third? I'd think it'd be straight on .... meaning, in foul territory looking at 3rd? http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v36257963

....not enough evidence I guess because it's really tough to see / confirm the tag here ....anyhow .... what I like is....something James told us at SEMUC in classroom sessions. He said he likes to preface any discussion w/ managers by saying hi to them ....and when you watch this video, you can see Ausmus come out, and right before he gets there you see him smile and say, "hi James " ...so I knew right there that James did what he told us he did .....kind of cool to see that ........ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v36098369

..........and Wolcott has 2 of them in the same game .....both wackers! On the first one here: Could a read step have helped? (just asking) Also, ... why the safe call and stare down? I don't get it. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v36092781 This one looks out in real speed for sure, ...even closer ........ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v36104785

this looks a lot like a play from a few weeks ago that was ruled (after review) a 7.13 violation ........ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35880155

....another reason that the 7.13 rule will be revamped ............ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35695421

this is almost embarrassing ......what is this ....number 8, at least this year? http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35684627

Based on all of the 7.13 replays we've seen ......especially the ones that have been ruled a violation ..... how is this one NOT a violation? http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/70467870/v35643825

I know how this works ....call on the field stands unless there's convincing evidence otherwise. That being said ......the angles shown here don't show a tag, do they? http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35608069

Nice play here by Middlebrooks, and ...he almost gets him. Winters calls him out, but it's reviewed and after the slo-mo ....it's overturned ...no big deal. What I'm starting to hate about the reviews is the stupid headshaking and finger waving when a player disagrees with the call. I foresee this being a problem (but that's just me). Watch Pujols shake his head and wave his finger like a jacka$$ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35491677

.......always on the leading edge of fashion .... First he rocked an adjustable cap, ....and now, after one of the guys rocking a white t-shirt under his jersey,...he's rocking one under his cool base. I don't know what it is, ...but it just doesn't look right. Meaningless post/thread, I know, but ....... does the white look ok? I don't think so. Thoughts? Also ... fly away safe mechanic http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35526489

Ok ... a few things of observation, and for discussion. 1) great call here no doubt 2) even though a great call ...... did Hal Gibson actually see the runners leg above the plate? Or, was his ruling out on the fact that he was tagged before his lead leg reached home. I'm not sure he can see a lifted leg, ...NOT THAT HE CAN'T ...I'm just saying...it's got to be really difficult to see that detail in real time. 3) Gibson has a Platinum TW retrofit w/ the throat cushion taken off http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v35477747

This is a safe call all day ....... but it seems he's out from the video/tv replays, .... yes? Not enough evidence? http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v33243647 @Gil: Owner - UEFL This isn't on your feed Gil? ON EDIT: the Left Center field camera gives a totally different view. Hey, who thought being in NY would be difficult ?!?

this is a safe out replay ....but watch the F2's clever move ....and listen to these flipping blow-hards from Colorado ?!?! UN BELIEBABLE !!!!!!!!!!! : http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v32983093/sdcol-umpires-review-safe-call-on-pickoff-in-7th

Ok, ...first and foremost .... this is a REALLY REALLY difficult call to make for anyone at ANY level. I had it foul when I saw it in real time, and I'm sure you did too! Doesn't surprise me a bit that Brian Knight had this foul, ..no surprise at all. Ok ... so ..... they go to review ..........now .......... a few things: 1) IF they overturn the foul call, where do you place Frazier? 2) Notice how the announcers actually get the "how to determine foul or fair" properly ... "it's where the ball is, not the body" 3) YOU TELL ME WHAT NUMBER 3 is ........watch the entire video, and tell me what was the third thing I noticed that I know we'd all appreciate here? Enjoy! http://m.mlb.com/video/?content_id=32080093&topic_id=vtp_review&query=reds challenge play

What looks in real time to be safe ....is an out call on the field, and I guess there's not enough evidence to overturn it .... If replay is the new look forward for MLB, it's got to be done right. I personally don't think they got this one right, but that's just my .02 http://m.mlb.com/video/?content_id=32091111&topic_id=vtp_review&query=angels challenge out
