      • I love their website and that they keep up with the desires of umpires better than any other retailer.
      • Their website is up to date and informs you if an item is out of stock
    • Great service
      • I actually had 2 occasions to call them. Once I had a question about the specifics of an item and the other time I had to make a return. Both times they were excellent to deal with. Understanding, and didn't make me feel stupid b/c I needed to return an item due to my error.
    • They're involved. Not only here, but through their Facebook, and more. I know I appreciate that. It seems they are there for officials not only when they want to buy something.

    I highly recommend them.

    This the first place I check when I need something.

    Their customer service is the best. Great Products.

    Usually have what I need. On some rare ocassions they don't.

    It is worth it sometimes to pay the little bit extra to get the service they provide. And now with the UE 10% Premium Member discount its much better!

    I always visit Ump-Attire.com first when there is something I want to buy. They have a good selection and good products. The best thing about Ump-Attire.com is the service. If my scale had a higher rating I would give it in service. They also ship very quickly. With standard shipping it only takes a few days to get your goods. The owner, Jim Kirk, is very knowledgeable and responsive. A while back I placed an order and for whatever reason needed to make a return. It was taken care of immediately with no problems. Jim also posts his email address on his website and does respond quickly to questions. The prices are average among suppliers but they do run some sales with great prices. The selection is good and changing keeping a pulse on what umpires want. I've never been disappointed in Ump-Attire.com and give my highest recommendation!

    This the first stop I make when I need something. Shoes, shirts, pants & ball bags always highest quality, good prices and great customer service. No need to look at any other stores or websites.

    Hey all,

    It has been a while since I have had to order any gear because I did not umpire a lot of games due to my work schedule. However, just after last season ended, I did order from this site, talk with Jim and one of his customer service reps, and I am thoroughly happy with the business that Jim is running.

    When I ordered a Smitty brand jacket that was new to his sight, Jim asked for a review to see how the jacket's fit and finish was. He asked for the review while the jacket was still in the process of being shipped and knew that it might take some time to get the review. Not many places would be willing to get feedback from their customers like that.

    Love Ump-Attire.com, I bought everything other than pants and my base and plateshoes from them. Good service, easy return on way too tight plate shoes. Bought EEEE wides from another supplier. Only issue I have is they don't hem pants or sew shirts, bet that'll come though. I don't know anyone that is willing to sew for me and I stink with my fingers.

    I made my first purchase from Ump-Attire.com this week. I placed an order on Sunday evening for some New Balance Plate Shoes and the order shipped Monday and I got them last night. I had to call them on Monday to ask a question, and the customer service lady was awesome. I plan on looking here first in the future.

    Overall great experience and not bad prices......but I am willing to pay a little more to get this level of service.....

    I have placed several orders with Ump-Attire.com this season. They have been very responsive to my needs. I have both placed orders and returned items. The customer service over the phone is excellent. Their website is great...a bit slow at times...it has the best pictures around. I love the fact that they take pictures of the gear on actual people so that you have a good feel for what they will look like on. Jim's blog is a great supplement to the site as well. He writes about his products and talks about other issues that are important to umpires. The only negative that I had with them is that they will not sew flag patches on shirts. They do sell the patches, but they do not sew. I like the fact that I can pay a little extra and get Gerry Davis or Honigs to sew for me.

    Now, I always check Ump-Attire.com first. Their prices might not always be the lowest, but they are competitive. Knowing that they offer great service and great products has led me to purchase from them even when I could have saved a few bucks elsewhere. Shipping is prompt and has always occurred when they said it would.

    I find the webite a bit clumsy. That said selection is great. They have some hats that Honigs does not carry. I purposely bought from Ump-Attire.com because they have a 4-stitch flex fit hat that was one dollar cheaper than what the guy at Honigs said he could get for me when contacted. I also took a chance on the Shock Doctor spandex and a new cup from Ump-Attire.com. I have not been disappointed. I ordered online so service is ungradable, and I have not returned anything so I can't grade that either. Shipping time was great, and shipping cost was comparable.

    Last year I was in the market for a new mask (this was prior to the new titaniums coming out). I spent about twenty to thirty minutes on the phone with questions and concerns. They were outstanding!! In a day and age where prices generally run the same, it is a breath of fresh air to have customer service like this. When I called them they treated me llike a major league umpire, looking to secure a mask before spring training. Jim - keep up the good work. You set the bar high. I look forward to doiong business with you.

    Ordered my Diamond Silver Mask from Jim and got it three days easy. Cant wait to give it the first try on January 17th.

    So I just posted a complaint about my situation with my order from Honigs on the review page for them on this site.

    Now as much of a problem as I have with Honigs I have the complete opposite with Jim and Ump-Attire.com!

    Jim has been nothing but helpful with all my questions and inquiries. I placed an order over the phone with him today (had the pleasure of talking directly to the famed Mr. Kirk). He was nothing if not one of the nicest guys I have ever spoken to on the phone. Very professional and gracious that I was placing an order with him over any of the other companies. Made me feel that my business and my money was going to a company that appreciated me.

    I ordered the black ultimate shirt, a navy ultimate ball bag and a pair of the Reebok Quag II referee shoes (since Reebok does not make the Field Magistrate shoe in a mid-top). He expressed his worry about me ordering them Reeboks, as I have not worn that company's shoes in quite a few years and that I wear a wide width show. He wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. He also reminded me that if they were not the right fit that he would be more than willing to take them back and I could get the New Balance 995s. I also ordered the Polo Blue ultimate shirt which will be shipped when ever he gets it. Which is fine by me, because I know it will be the right size and the right shirt (unlike other companies).

    Now with my problem with my Honigs order, I can see another phone call to Jim to add on two Smitty long sleeve shirts to my order.

    There is such a thing as caring enough for the customer and making sure everything is right.

    Jim does that.

    Being the Dir. of Umpires for the local PONY association, I have ordered from Ump-Attire.com for a few years. My experience with Jim and his team has been nothing but outstanding!!! They have always been friendly, knowledgable, and very proficiant!! Returns are easy (which have been very few) and the selection of products allow you a wide range of possibilities. Even the lower line of clothing is better than some of the competition.
