I got these at the beginning of the year to replace my NB 450's.

    I really like these shoes.

They are lightweight, easy to clean, sharp looking and give great protection.

My only con to these shoes is that they are not mudders to any extent. Even if the dirt is damp from morning dew, the knobs at the bottom will become completely clogged up and you could loose all traction. Be aware of this and be sure to kick out the dirt regularly. I will not wear these in damp/ light rain conditions.

I never thought anyone would make a better plate shoe than the New Balance 450's, but, the Reebok is better!

I just got a pair of the Reebok Field Magistrate plate shoes(mid), and wore them for the first time today. One word: AMAZING!

When I was wearing them for the first time working a game today, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. They were light, supportive, and the nubs on the bottom really grab when you lock in, and especially when you bust out on a play. After the game, when I took them off, my feet didn't even feel like I worked a game. The cleanup was much easier than my New Balance 450's. Removing dirt from the soles is much easier than the NB's, because this shoe doesn't have all the nooks and crannies that the NB does. They were also much easier to take on and off than the NB.

The New Balance 450's are good, in fact very good. The Reeboks are outstanding.

I give these shoes my highest recommendation. They will very quickly become my most favorite piece of equipment, and I have the WV Platinum, WV shin guards, and Shock FX helmet.

Get yourself a pair, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Last night I wore the Reebok plate shoe for the first time.
They were very comfortable. The shoe is made for wide feet. My feet aren't
wide but I do have gout in my right foot. These shoes didn't affect it at all.
Very nice. I also like the small cleats. When I plant I don't slip. It has a long tongue. My shin guards fit over them nicely. We shall see how durable they are this year when I use them in 200+ games.
