    Third Out

I have been using the mask for a full season. I got the standard curve and am very happy with it. It is light wieght and has a great view. I have taken a couple of direct shots and mask handled it well. I would highly recommend this mask to anyone.

This mask is as great as Dave says it is. The comfort level is optimal. It comes with the lightest, softest pads I have ever worn.

I have both profiles. I use them both. It's a worthwhile expense indeed.

Having been out of the game for a couple of years, my old mask had some cracks in the rubber around the metal and it was starting to rust, so I decided to go with the new wilson Titanium mask. I have worn it for 10-12 games behind the plate so far this season and I can say that I absolutely love it. It is much lighter, the bars are much thinner, the padding is much better, and the low profile frame allows for a wider field of vision than my old Honig’s single bar. While the price is high, I think it is worth the expense. If you take care of it, it will last. The look of the silver bars on the combo pads is also very nice. I am glad that Wilson introduced this mask to us regular umpires. I will recommend it and Ump-Attire to all of my fellow umpires.

I finally got to use my new mask today in a scrimmage. It is the lightest mask I have ever owned, and the visibility is excellent ( I have the traditional profile one). It is truly worth every penny of the heavy price tag.

Lightest mask with real leather pads I have touched. It does not weigh down your hat bill. Barely feels like you have it on. New View style profile so view is good but very different from traditional mask style. I like it so much I am selling my other three masks and using only this one. I looked up properties of Titanium and it is the real deal. Will not rust. It's only enemy as far as frame goes is high heat. (not baseballs but fire!) (grin) I have two new view style masks. No dents, headaches or problems with either. Black new view is three seasons old and has taken more than a dozen direct hits with no dents or ill effects. Gray new view is one season old with same results. Titanium is remarkably lighter and experts say it is stronger than steel/aluminum alloys/Chrome Moliben. If you can afford it and like masks instead of buckets try this one.
