i have had and worn for the last 4 years , the shock doctor compression short , which came with this model cup , that is being reviewed . i have had a couple of hard shots square into the cup . both the comp short and cup work fine for me . btw i just ordered another cup from ump-attire . the sale price was still valid !! it is a great buy . btw my comp short is starting to show some wear in the form of some stitching starting to fray or come out altogether .

I bought this cup with the Shock Doctor Adult Ultra Support. My complaint is specifically with the supporter and not the cup. The cup is great. Very comfortable. However, Shock Doctor needs to fix this supporter. I wore this supporter and cup for one game and the stitching for the cup pocket began to seperate from the waistband. Also, one of the elastic threads from the waistband completely came out. This supporter is a piece of junk. Do not buy it. I now use the cup in a pair of McDavid compression shorts with a cup pocket and it works great.

This cup is great, and doesnt crack like the updated one that ShockDoctor recalled. It fits well in the compression shorts (while others dont) and it does provide great protection.

I give it a decent comfort rating, but my previous cup was that awful. It's durable, doesn't get in the way, doesn't need adjustment much.

I got this cup in the beginning of the year. I usually don't think too much about cups.

The other night I took a direct shot. It still hurt a bit, but I'm not singing soprano. This was a heck of a shot on an adult ball fast ball which was short and the catcher couldn't get it. After the game my partner said to me "Good thing you wear the West Vest Gold because from where I was standing that bad pitch sounded like it still hurt."

I told him I never got hit in the chest. It hit my cup.

He said he'd never heard that noise from a cup before.

As far as cups go it is pretty comfortable.

    I recommend this cup.
