NHSF rule set. 10 year old.
Left handed pitcher, runner on third. The pitcher is set, then he lifts the front leg, but does not break the plane of the rubber, then twirls without breaking from the rubber. His front foot steps in the 45 degree cone pointing toward third, and he made the throw to third.
This looked very very strange, but I didn't see any reason to call a balk. He stepped toward third. Balk?
He did it twice during the game, but was not close to picking the runner off either time. I can't believe that he didn't fall over.
Any help would be appreciated.
