Today something very odd happened, I was working the bases and my partner was motioning for me to come talk to him. Turns out the only game ball he had left was stuck in a pocket in his ball bag and he couldn't get it out, so for like 3 minutes we had to call time and I was standing there trying to pull this baseball out of his bag. I've never seen something like that happen before. 

I can't wait for spring, tired of not having any games, getting board

Local Rec League is looking for a commissioner and somehow I'm on the short list.

Looking for black leather mask pads that are not wrap arounds and offer good protection, can't find anything. Anyone have a suggestion?

Just got done a 8/9 Yearold game, had a 3 minute delay when a player got into a standoff with his coach because he refused to wear a hat. I tried to hurry it up but the coach wanted to handle it eventually benching the player. Weirdist moment in one of my games.

Double header tomorrow! Finally get to use my MVP2500 and Honigs Shinnies, game 2 with my +POS CP. 10 am can't arrive soon enough!!!!

I just got a minor promotion! I got added to the 14U Substitute Umpire List. I have work this level before as an emergency fill in, but now I'm a full substitute. Might not seem like much but here that's a nice promotion. It means in the Spring I might wind up as a 14U scheduled umpire.
