I don't usually get chatty at the plate meeting, but if I anticipate AC or parents turning my game ugly, I will add the following at the plate meeting. "Coaches, you are responsible for the conduct of your players, assistances and parents. If we have an issue with any of them, we will come to you to remedy the situation".
The "call it both ways, blue" is an accusation of cheating. I would go to HC and tell him that's unacceptable. Next B/S comment and that AC/parent is excused from spectating.
One might let the 1st mouth-off go/ignore, but the sooner you address the chirping issue, the sooner you'll have the quiet game you desire.
