    Just some of the ways people view umpires and how everyone wants to tell us how to do our job or stick their noses in it with no idea how much time and effort we actually put in to our craft. Like we're a bunch of crackpots who have no idea whats going on. It just rubbed me the wrong way.

    I dont get it. So if you have a 1:50 time limit its really a 1:45 time limit? Or is the 1:50 a drop dead time limit? I:50 drop dead with now new inning with less than 5 minutes to go. The last part just keeps everyone from going through the hastle just to have one batter come up and end the game.

    NO No NO Never have 2 anti-virus programs in your computer at the same time! +1 One antivirus at a time is all you need. Also a new thing going around is websites randomly telling you you need to update flash. ONLY UPDATE FLASH FROM ADOBE'S UPDATE CLIENT!!!! These popups look real and like genuine Adobe. They are not, the download link will download and install a very pesky virus on your computer.

    The MLB Network feed had his shouler tagged on the initial tag attempt .............. We didn't get that angle, but with what we do have, I have a tag on the return attempt to the plate.

    He's out. Gets him on the arm before he gets back to the plate. plain as day. start watching at 1:12 and you'll see it. The glove with the ball in it contacts his arm before his hand makes it back to the plate.

    I haven't found an all-in-one I truly like. I find that using the separate programs that were designed to do one thing do it better than ones that were designed to do 100 at once. You can put them All in ONE folder on your desktop

    My association I work for says not to start any new innings with less than 5 minutes on the clock. Having said that, 38 seconds matters in a 3-0 game especially if the team that's down had bases loaded and only 1 out with the best hitter coming up (not saying that's the situation, but it's a good reason why coaches would come unglued if you called a game with 38 seconds left). Gotta let the three outs happen. Unless you use a drop dead rule, but even then, the last batter gets to finish his at bat and the game plays on until he reaches base or has been put out. As far as everything else, I'll tell my buddies I'll call/text them later and I'm getting the heck out. end of story.

    B-10.....BINGO!!!!! In an effort to actually add this thread, as a young guy what made me stay in was the older guys looking like they were having a good time, being receptive, and giving me multiple opportunities for on field training (first and second year guys must attend all scheduled scrimmages). The combination of feeling confident I knew what to do coupled with knowing that I could have a good time doing it are what made me stick around. Make sure your older guys are being receptive to the younger ones. Don't let the older showboat and put down the younger guys. Nothing will deflate their hunger for umpiring faster.

    I've used Avast for years and love it. Never any problem. Malware Bytes is good for removal if you already have a problem, also, AVG has an antivirus program that will run from your CD-ROM and scan and clean your computer before it ever launches windows. It helps get rid of those viruses that are activated when windows starts.

    I'm a Metallica fan, but this is more what I was getting at. I've been playing guitar for years and these are two of the best and to hear them play something like this so well made me think that it was cool. Not trying to disrespect the flag in anyway. It's a nice change from the norm of over embellishing pop singers taking two hours to sing a 2 minute verse and ruining the Anthem along the way. Thank you guys for your service!

    I just use the full site. It's free, easy, and I have my phone set up to where it remembers all my information and logs me in automatically, so It's not inconvenient or anything.
