Why dont u guys try the 3N2 plate shoes. They are awesome. Very light and solid black and weigh less than a pound per shoe. They also look very sharp .You have to order half size up. I am overly impressed and pleased with this plate shoe. After doing 70 plus plate games this year they have held up very well and the few times i have been hit on the toe i never felt anything..Just my two cents worth

I bought the 3N2 base shoe. I wear 11EE . These shoes fit half size too small, I bought the 11 and a half EE and awesome shoe.. The lightest shoe on the market and it is solid black .Looks very good and i have worn them about 50 times or so this year and have no complaints. I also bought the 3N2 reaction plate shoe. Unbelievably light and its like ur wearing a base shoe behind the dish. This plate shoes also fits half size too small. So remember if u order either the plate or base shoe order half size up.You wont be dissapointed . I saved a bit when i bought both at the same time from Officially Sports out of pennsylania for $129 for both. I highly reccomend them to anybody.

yes jim kirk sells this navy shirt for only 35 bucks...go to baseball savings and u can buy the same shirt for 16.98 ..its only a savings of 18 bucks. other comparisons the diamond sivler mask for 59 bucks compared to 69 ump attire..happy savings and always shop around..the best deals are out there but some of these other retailers dont advertise as much as others...and im not being paid by baseball savings..lol..just like to let my fellow blue some good deals when i see them..btw i bought the diamond mask from baseball savings when they had a special 50.79 plus 6.99 shipping sorry guys i thought they were the same shirt..if they are not my apologies again..i bought two of these shirts and am pleased with them..i like them better than my ump attire ultimate shirt..but the best bang for ur buck in my opinion is by far smittys

yes this is a very good chest protector..as to protecting ur ribs it is only good if u are 5-9 or less for guys 6ft plus with big torso u are left to dry as this protector is only 12 inches

Because if your crew is colour co-ordinationally challenged, it looks like horseSH*#. How you look only lasts until the first pitch - then it's all on how you "umpire". well said rich... i couldnt agree with u more.....so much emphasis on looking so good and having great mechanics but forgetting the most important thing in umpiring is calling a strike correctily a ball accordingly and safes and out correctly...so much emphasis on calling nice strikes in the so called right way and no emphasis or little at the most important thing... calling a good game on plate or bases....once again well said rich ....i like that how u look lasts until first pitch lol

i think its a bit too early to say that new all star chest protector and leg guards are considered the best considering that too many umpires have used these products. nevertheless i hope they are as good as they say they are. but once again the pricing is a bit high especially the leg guards. then again some bozzo is williing to pay over 500 bucks for a nike mask on ebay..i guess supply and demand will dictate the price and success of these new products for all star in the umpiring field. overall all star hasnt been successful in the umpire market and maybe these too new products will challenge the wilson products. glad to see the all star chest protector comes in a 15 inch version and not like wilson and their 12 inch versions that cater to the umpires 5-9 and shorter

Isn't there enough stuff on the Wilson masks already?? 2) who cares what other umps are wearing? Google UMPIRE EQUIPMENT and watch all of the online stores that come up. Again, not trying to be a jerk, but just do your own research,...when you've exhausted your resources and still don't have an answer....THEN come on here and see what we know. But first, ...go to the EQUIPMENT forum, and search here first whats the big deal. the guy asked a couple of questions. thats not a big deal. everyone is entitled to wear and buy what they want. i didnt read the guy asking for money from anyone to purchase the mask for him. relax Excuse me Mr. "7 posts" .... I wish thonigs made these great quality pants in heather gray and in navy.. Up here in canada we wear navy for softball and heather gray for baseball

i have the diamond silver lightweight mask.,..i have extra pads and was going to switch the diamond ones for my pos pads or wilson ...i never did and have worn my diamond silver mask behind the dish for 15 games now..i have no problems whatsoever with these pads..i ve taken two vicious shots and have felt absolutely nothing.. i also have a goatee and the pads do not bother me,.,.ive read alot of guys saying change those worthless pads..but as far as im concerned the pads are fine...i love this mask ...very light and the pads on them are very good to me...btw the vicious shots i got hit with were in the 85mph range...just my two cents worth...

i agree with semper. this guy has problems mentally lol. its kind of childish doing that. oh well, if it makes him feel good and now that everyone knows he doctors plate shoes to be cool or be the only with a pair of nike plate shoes that do not exist...all the power to him.. where i come from , a guy that does these kind of things is called a MALAKA...
