To @ArchAngel72 was saying I think the term sex trafficing headline is a bit of sensationalism. Nothing I have seen seems to be sex trafficing, more or less your generic John bust.

I forwarded this question on to the State Rules Interpreters in the two closest states to me. I have only heard back from the Oregon SRI. But his answer was short as sweet. (For you guys that know Tad, that is right on brand for him.) His response was "A. Path of least resistance."

Malicious contact is not defined. However, it is generally accepted that it is contact as part of a baseball play which becomes excessive or intentionally injurious. Fighting and MC are two separate things and are mutually exclusive.

I think it was the first year and we didn't use it until post season. I was a real good hitter and F2, but was not known for my foot speed. We were in a state playoff game and I went 3 for 4.
