Lol... he does actually! Right here in Portland.

A few years back, after he retired from working games, I know he had fallen on hard times. The Portland umpires membership voted to donate parts of one weekend's game checks to helping Tim get back on his feet.

Last I heard, he is back working with the Portland HS unit as a trainer and evaluator.

Sorry to hear that. He was an amazing resource and I'm glad to hear that he is passing on his knowledge and skills to other umpires! At one time he was "the undisputed gear junky of all time!"....
