Are you saying that the call is mistaken?

You might be confusing this with the case where BR runs outside and F2 sets up inside and hits the BR out of the lane. That should be ruled legal, on the grounds that the runner's being out of the lane did not hinder the fielder taking the throw (no hindrance = no INT).

This play is ruled correctly.

What date was this game? Looks like Braves/White Sox, Top of the 8th. Have any more details? This is a great clip!

The game took place between the Washington Nationals and the White Sox on June 7, 2016. It was played at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago and the Nats won, 10-5. The pitcher in the video for the Sox was Matt Purke and the batter for the Nats was Daniel Murphy with home plate umpire Nic Lentz.
