oh I'm sure that's why, however, they have the whole day to play 4 games, no reason I can think of to have them bunched. Also now I can't watch all 4 :(

Jeff, I get that, originally there were two on the calendar for today - understood, but still, why not spread them out over the course of the day

edit - here's the forecast as well, would seem starting earlier would have made sense as well

A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. West wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

did it matter who advanced for the assignments?

I would imagine they wouldn't want you to work the dish for a team from your region. And I believe that Maine would be considered mid-Atlantic.

I imagine Troy could come on at some point and give us the down low.

Interesting. So me being in Portland. If I was there and Idaho and Hawaii both advanced. I wouldn't have been allowed to work the plate for Hawaii because they would both have come out of regionals in San Bernardino?
