New catcher and a few pitches into the first inning the catcher turns around and asks me if it's O.K. if he frames it.?

 

Sure... knock yourself out.  Whatever you want.

 

Next inning he's getting in the framing groove and he neglects one and I call it a ball.

 

He says out loud to no one in particular "Dang, I should have framed that one"
