Runners 1st and 3rd. B or c position?

I was told B now some old timers are telling me c. I prefer b.

It goes back and forth and depends on what specific mechanics you are using (and the philosophy behind them).

At one time it depended on the number of outs. If less than 2, then C. With 2 outs, then B.

I'm always in B for this situation.  Usually only for a pitch or two until the R1 steals second base uncontested though!
