I'm truly not bringing this up to beat a horse that has been beaten and killed 9 times over, but I found it funny.  In my freshman legion game that I had last night, the third base coach in the second inning asked me if I could clean off the rubber because his runners could not tell when the pitcher was in contact.  I hesitated a moment, thought about telling the pitcher to do it, then walked over and kicked it clean.

I'm assuming that most of you on here would have told the pitcher to do it?  Remember that it was the OC that asked so I would have been telling the pitcher to do something at the request of the other teams coach.  With this in mind I felt the best decision was to just kick it clean myself.
