  1. I wore my CP for the first time last night. It felt great, noticeably thinner. I haven't taken a shot yet, will report when I do. (Look, NO FEET!)
  2. I just got my Gold back from Michael at Ump Guard Retrofit and could not be happier! Great people to do business with! Highly recommend!
  3. @MadMax, Sorry, I don't have everyone's resume at hand. I'm not on here that much. Just a suggestion. So a raft is a no go, but it's ok for a college umpire to wear bicep protectors?
  4. LOL, if @The Ripper doesn't think he's going to have to cram his gear in.... , I've never had a bag I didn't have to pack it pretty tight. Whatever, to each their own, this is the bottom part of my ebag. The top is full of uniforms and such. It works for me. This is the way it came out of the back of my truck after a JUCO weekend.
  5. When I encounter rain during games, I wear a nice, warm Ford F250.😃
  6. Use video along with your written evaluation. Evaluatees can't argue with video.
  7. I never owned a Carlucci, but this All American is the most comfortable and provides the best protection of all the CP’s I’ve worn. And, I’ve worn almost everything ever produced.
  8. Pictures would help immensely.
  9. Ok, this would not be a rule CHANGE. It doesn't currently exist, so, it would actually be a rule ADDITION or a new rule.
  10. The original post show 2 different mask frames, one square and one round.
  11. I appreciate the public service, but your link is for CHANGING an existing rule. It's actually titled "Rule Change Proposal."
  12. Why leave it up to the states? Why not just make it a rule change for all NFHS schools?
  13. I'm surprised that the NFHS hasn't adopted the MLB protocol for putting a runner on 2B in extra inning games. For @lawump, has there been any discussion to changing this?
  14. Yeah, I disagree with the above. I believe we want and need a definition. I believe we absolutely need verbiage such as attempted to injure, attempted to dislodge, made no legitimate attempt to get to the base only the fielder, etc. Just my opinion.
  15. I respect all of y'all's opinions, but I don't agree that this is what the rule was created for. I see the interference being the result of a less than quality throw by the pitcher as opposed to the location of the runner. Thanks.
  16. Well, the throw originated about 2-3 steps in front of the mound, not sure how the Runner's Lane even comes into play on this one.
  17. With where this throw originated, I'm not sure I agree with this RLI call. The pitcher made a bad throw and PU bailed him out. JMHO.
  18. The Hybrid Stance is NOT legal in NFHS baseball. This is what NFHS said: Rule 6 was adjusted to only use the pivot foot to determine whether a pitcher is delivering a pitch from the wind-up or set position. Previously, the position of both feet on the pitcher’s plate determined either the wind-up or set positions, prohibiting a “hybrid” position where the pivot foot was in the wind-up position and the non-pivot foot was in the set position. “The Rules Committee received tremendous input from coaches and umpires that allowing the ‘hybrid’ would assist players to succeed in pitching,” Hopkins said. “Anytime we can write a rule to improve playability or increase participation, then it is prudent that we do so for the sake of the participants.”
  19. I'm interested in the Nike pads if they're still available. I'll message you.
