  1. It's legal. A bit of a loophole in the rules if you ask me.
  2. New guy. Quick question. If the coach calls time and goes into right field, or anywhere on the playing field, to argue the call does he get charged a mound visit?

    Drop 3rd

If he would have just caught the ball it's an out. But he dropped a catch-able ball into the now base path of the runner. And then in the course of picking up his mistake he and and the runner collide. Seems to me a no call would be appropriate. Let it play out and if the catcher then makes the throw to first in time it would all work out.

    Drop 3rd

Batter was eligible on the dropped 3rd. There were 2 outs. Not sure if or how many other runners were on base. Assuming they weren't loaded. This play ended the game.

    Drop 3rd

Hey guys. New to umpiring. Been coaching for 9 years and it's time to give back. Was coaching last night but heard of a play on the other field that I didn't know the answer to. Little League rules, Major division. Dropped third strike. Just pops out of catchers glove and lands on the plate. Runner takes off and he and the catcher run into each other. Runner was called out. Is that the correct call? Thanks in advance.
