    Apparel n' Equipment Guide v2

As stated multiple times over the years since its release. The Nutty Buddy protective cup is made to "float" between the jock (even with a pocket) and the garment below it. If you try and place it inside the jock pocket, it will ride to high and be uncomfortable/not protect properly/etc.

    Proposed Rule Changes

I actually wish that FED would move more in line with NCAA on this. Would solve a whole hell of a lot of problems.

    How does this happen?

What is still worse, is that right around this time, there was a photo of a female umpire that had been hired on by this league. People automatically (even after reading the articles that give the names of the umpires) assumed that the plate umpire was this woman... cause there must only be one plate umpire in the entire league. And the photo with the story on the female umpire showed her in plate gear.

    CWS TOR Bucknor situation

I liked Gil's comparison to the Bellino situation from earlier this year. How Bellino, by making sure to keep the arm holding the ball locked in place, made the call easier as it was actually "lodged". Where as CB, probably because of the plate stance he uses, had to move both arms in order to call time. Thus meaning that the ball fell from its lodged location. Thus causing more confusion.

    Apparel n' Equipment Guide v2

I was wondering the same thing! If so, why even have the jock at all? I do the same as Kyle. Compression, cup, jock, pants. And I second the NB being more comfortable than the SD. Strangely, I misplaced my NB the last few plates of the season. So I had to use my old carbon fiber Shock Doctor in its place. It worked fine. Just not as comfortable.
  7. I can promise that they don't care about brand. Only that they are nice, cleaned, and maybe even polished/shined.

I thought Ump-Attire has you measure from below the knee cap. But can't remember.

How do you pack you're hard shell CP?

I do the same as @Stk004.

    Suggestions for CP?

I'm not sure the XV/MaXV/HDX is 13". I need around a 14-14.5" CP. And my MaXV more than covers me without the extension.
  11. Ditto to a city in the High Desert area of Southern California pronounced Lan-cast-ter
  12. @Scott K, can you use this to touch up the NB460v2/3?
  13. So it is a loose fit versus an actual compression shirt?
  14. You could have saved gas by just driving north instead of east. We have PLENTY of that during Construction Season up here. Lol

Adams XV-HDX received today thru hibbetts

You have a few options. One is to replace the harness with a flex style harness. Two is to figure out how to permanently get the straps to stay in place... then hope you don't loose or gain weight.

Throat guard for F3 Defender V2

Those throat guards look slightly different. Is one a Mizuno and the other a Kubota or something along those lines?
  17. @ousafe since it sounds like you are from Washington (like myself and a few others). We wear black, in particular.. the 2010 Gerry Davis sublimated shirt, for high school ball. So it isn't as regulated as those states east of the continental divide. Basically just try and match your partner. Also, and since I glossed over it earlier, #GoCreekGo

    Time between games

Yes... this happens more than you would hope it would. Also, "we will get there as soon as we can" is a totally acceptable answer.
  19. You got me all hot and bothered for a second there!
  20. @wolfe_man, talk about burying the lead brotha! You guys have RED HATS?
  21. So the general rule is that the undershirt matches the last color of piping at the end of the sleeve. I.e. navy-red, red-navy, powder-navy, black-and-white, etc. There are obviously exceptions to the rule.

Throat guard for F3 Defender V2

Mark Wegner uses a 6" Wilson throat guard on his F3.
  23. This topic has come up multiple times on this site. I would recommend doing a search and that might answer any questions you have. if it doesn't, I'm sure there are plenty of guys (and gals) on here that can help fill the gaps.

    Double Set - Balk

Also... "stopped" means that EVERYTHING has come to a stop. If his hands stop, but he is still bouncing his foot or leg, he has not come to a stop.
