  1. I know there have been multiple threads on here thanking our vets. But after watching the tribute that MLB and Fox put together, including tribute to our WWII vets and all the ballplayers who put off their careers to serve, and then to have that Marine, a triple amputee, throw out the first pitch (of course he threw a strike), it just struck me again (and yes, a few tears were shed). Thank you to all of you that have served on this board, and if you see a WWII or Korea vet, make sure you thank them, they will not be around that much longer. I have lost both my grandfathers who served in WWII and know that it was because of sacrifices by people like them that we are able to have the rights we do today. God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans.

  3. Staying in the back pocket/ glove side... such a great angle. Just like I was taught last weekend. Guess my instructor knew what he was talking about. Did it take you to see this play to think that about the Instructors....LOL

  7. busting out there's fine and getting there ....no problem ....good! but creep up on a ball that is barely moving and watching it closer and closer as if it's going to magically jump foul, ...then animate the point fair? Nawwww that is great mechanics.. you should be calling fair and fouls aggressively, I tried to teach that this past weekend...great Job. I'm a believer in sharp mechanics everytime. Fair/foul, Swinging Strikes, easy outs on the bases, etc. I see to many guys look lazy.

  13. For the compression shirts go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx. That is the best way.to go, you can find Nike or Under Armour for a price that doesn't break the bank.

  15. I'd need lots of remedial training. Is it interference or obstruction when a guy with the ball runs into a defender standing still? Does it matter if the defender is in "the box" near the backstop? Wait, you say it's a backboard, not a backstop? And, it's not a "box," it's a "lane" you say? You mean like the running lane??
