If you are a 44R in a suit coat...order the same size for your plate coat because they made to accommodate the cp. Sizing up will be too big

Are you a size 44? I have a navy blue in 44L if you're interested.

All this talk of a plate coat makes me want to get on the plate coat train.

Size 38

I know I know. Good luck to me

I found one just this January through a California umpire association website (I think it was CBUA) store that was selling their left-overs. Black, not as high quality as the MLB ones, but still worthwhile. Took me forever to find it, literally scouring random links in random association sites, but it's doable.

Also would sizing up to a 40 work or look too sloppy?

You don't want it too big or too small. If you know someone that has one close to your size try it on. You can not use your regular suit as a guide because of the cut and your cp. The Honigs measurement guides help.
