FPSR

R1, 1 out. GB DP ball. R1 slides straight in, contacts F4, prevents throw to 1B and slides beyond 2B. The contact is made at the base (not behind 2B) and prevents throw to 1B. Is this FPSR interference?

What level or ruleset? NCAA rules allow for runners to slide through the bag or pop-up. HS (NFHS) requires runners to stop at the bag and stay down.

Also, there may be more at play than what you describe. Illegal slides can be more than just where the runner slid, but how.

As long as the contact was on the base or before (1b-2b line) base, not FPSR in FED.  in FED, it's only a FPSR violation to slide beyond the base AND THEN make contact.

 

In NCAA, a runner can slide beyond the base (in a straight line) and make contact -- this is a legal play.

strictly high school (FED / NFHS) ...if what you describe happened just like that, ...and the runner did in fact slide straight into the base, as @noumpere stated, ...no FPSR
