Anyone else hear the Darth Vader line from New Hope? "The circle is now complete..."

@tjohnson Drop a spyder throat guard powder coated in the same color, and you would really have something there, my friend!

I tried to get Tony to do the one I had when I sent him my Diamond. But didn't want to lose the snaps.

Are they integrated into the guard or something, and cannot be removed and put back on?

The fabric (not the best word) is wrapped around the top bar and then connected with the (kind of) "male" end of the little button clasp. It keeps the spyder from swinging wildly and it's pretty nice, so I understand why BT would want to keep it.

Since STK has my old one, he could speak to its condition.

It's almost like it is looped around the top bar and sewn shut. So the only part that opens is the snap.

Talking to Tony, he said he could cut it off. But I really liked the strap and decided not to do it.

Silver FM4000 with tan TW pads, black LUC pads, and navy LUC pads (with navy harness, of course).

Black +POS ZRO-G with black stock pads and tan TW pads.

First real upgrade since the good ole Wilson Hubcap.

Wilson - vinyl stripped, black spray paint with blacked out wrap-around pads.

Oh, and blacked out visor.

What made you decide to blackout the visor?

It was scratched up, so I thought I'd just go ahead and put a new look on it as well. And if the visor idea is to block the sun, then a blacked out visor would certainly stop light coming through completely was my thought.

That makes sense. Might have to do that eventually. Wonder how it holds up in the wet?

I'll let you know if I get any rain on me the rest of this year.  I'm down to about 10 games left now.
