"But it's a playoff game, you *can't* eject him for just arguing balls and strikes in a playoff game."

Clemens is about the biggest DB to come through Boston in my lifetime, and that's really saying something. He wanted to get thrown out of that game. He's the LeBron James of 90's and 2000's baseball. He had to go to the Yankees to win a championship.

But Morgan was a class act, loved him. Tollway Joe is my favorite Sox manager ever.

Ah the old days:

Roger Clemens before steroids

Wade Boggs

Flip up sun glasses

Joe Morgan

Mike Gallego

Elbecco shirts

AL branded umpires

The Oakland A's actually in the playoffs

You know, I sometimes miss the Elbeccos.

Pat: "You've probably been calling him Don Denkinger (den-kin-jer) all your life, but it's Don Denkinger (den-king-er)."

Dick: "It's good to see Don Denkinger (den-kin-jer)."

All the players got a warning that day, it's called common knowledge. They know if they get personal they are gone. They all know it, Clemens knew it.

A vary experienced and respected umpire said no warnings period. Then the world's dumbest follow up question, then why no warning in the situation. Because there are no warnings moron. Switch announcers, they really need a warning. So what part of no warnings is so hard to understand? You act like an ass, insult the man personally and then acted shocked when you get dumped, amazing. :hopmad:
