  1. Scenario 1: Award changes to third base Scenario 2: Award remains home base, BR scores. The changing of an award is specific to "If a runner is forced to return to a base after a catch." This is a specific exception to the rule of awarding bases based on the position of a runner at the time of the throw. So in Scenario 2, the BR can return to touch first base (as long as he does so before reaching third base), then touch second, third, and home, scoring.

  14. This is my vote 100%. I usually use water and a brush or rag, but for when I really need to clean them this is what I use.
  15. Warning - chaos incoming Today I came into possession of a Medium (12”) Riddell Power. I’m more of a 15” kind of guy, so I’m looking to either buy or trade for a L or XL Power. Preferably XL. If anybody has one they’re willing to part with, or is even considering parting with, let me know. OG padding or TW retrofit, either way is fine with me. Pending what happens with that, if I buy a L or XL Power I’ll be looking to sell my medium. I’m not sure on price, but I’m open to discussions / DMs. Let the chaos begin. Oh, and here’s some proof of life
  16. @JHumbert15 my guess is Rawlings, something similar to this
  17. My post above is the current OBR interpretation. I’m not sure if any of their literature has changed since then, but the way they want it called is if the batters foot is still in the air he’s not out of the box. This can be really hard to call in real time, which might lead to our confusion over what should be called vs what’s actually called.
  18. Nowadays, a batter with one foot in the box and one foot in the air would still be considered in the box. He would need to have one foot entirely on the ground outside of the box to be considered out of the box.
  19. I'd try giving this guy a call https://twitter.com/bigdonkey47/status/1624242714018455555?s=20&t=xfcn9jmDFHEYKbQ1oD0niQ
  20. I should clarify, I pointed that out to show that the throw was on target to the first baseman. The runner is allowed to exit the runner's lane by means of his last step, stride, reach or slide, assuming he was running in the lane prior to that "exit." In this situation, the runner is out of the runner's lane the entire way, meaning he is not protected on his final step/stride. You can't exit the runner's lane if you were never in it. In my opinion, this is 100% RLI and a correct call.
