I knew we had a no hitter at the conclusion of the game, but didn't confirm the perfect game until the next day. Pretty cool for the kid...he got a write up in the newspaper and a handwritten congratulatory letter from the Grand Junction Rockies single A ball club. This was almost my second one. My partner Jim Joyce'd a kid 2 years ago. T7 1 out he safes a kid at first that was out by half a step. Next pitch double play, game over. Had the same partner this time and he didn't screw it up!

I had the pleasure of calling a perfect game in Colorado this past Saturday. F1 from Palisade HS threw a gem, getting a 10-0 victory in 5 innings. Shortened or not it was a perfect game, nonetheless.
