Passing through Moyock after a week in Corolla.
Never been to OBX before. Beautiful state you have here...

Looking at the map maybe more like 10. To drive it can take about 1.5 to 2 hrs. The secret is knowing when to go. I can make it in less lime if I leave my house before 8 am or after 2-3 pm.
Saturday traffic is horrible I have to leave an extra hour early to ensure I get to my games on time. But luckily there aren't as many games this time of year.
I've pleaded with my wife to get a boat. There is a public ramp about a mile from my house. and the Whalehead Club (If you saw that large yellow building in Corolla -- please remember it is not said like the car it is like Koala co-rah-la) has a public dock. We could load a cart in the boat be there in about half an hour then only need to walk 200-300 yards to the beach.
She hasn't said no, she just says we have better things to use our money for (ie bills).

I have been assigned to my first High School Baseball Game that will be played next week. I will be working with Independent League/College Umpire Kurt Branin and my fellow Little League/Travel Ball and now High School Umpire Jim White who happens to be a World Series Umpire. Great Crew for my first High School game. I'm Blessed and Grateful. :)

Warren, I would still argue for the Nike pro combat shirts. Reasoning, yes they do cost more however unlike the c9 they don't bleed into other clothes when washed. They use flat seem stitching that means they don't cut into you. They come in regular, fitted, compression, cold, thermal and vented. Giving guys the largest array of options inside a single brand and known sizing/style. There is a reasoning that every MLB guy and most MLB players wear them even though nike doesn'...

Hello, I've visited your site before but just signed up for the premium membership. I have a couple of questions. How can I order the book? Is there a code for the 10% discount at ump attire? Can you give me access to the blog? It looks like you need a gmail account so I signed up up as jaygfour@gmail.com.
