Hi guys, I had this situation earlier today and I wanted your feedback on how I handled it.

Freshman baseball with VT up 5-0, bottom 5. VT pitcher is up over 80 pitches and his accuracy has dipped. He looses a curveball and hits the batter in the lower back. Batter doesn't seem to think it was intentional and neither does the PU. First pitch after the HBP is a pickoff attempt. Somewhat hard tag by the F3, but more of a snap down than an intentional hard tag IMO. Runner gets up and swipes at F3's glove that he kept on him as he stood up. No reaction by F3 other than throwing the ball back to F1. Seeing the swipe I started toward the two of them and when I got there I told the runner that I didn't want to see anymore of that at all today.

No ejections, no arguements and everyone was fine from there on out. I wanted to know how you guys would have handled it and if I did the right thing by shutting it down, but keeping everyone in the game since I didn't think it rose to the level of MC.
