I guess the only thing I disagree with is Torre saying Joe initiated contact.  If someone is in my face bumping into me he has initiated contact.  My response to remove him is not initiating.  It is responding.  Joe didn't run into the dugout to initiate contact.  Papelbon ran onto the field to initiate contact.

just a slap on the wrist.........1 game......big deal.......Papelbon was the aggressor......and of you read the  article, Torre said he talked to west and they agreed there were better ways to handle it.... ...of course there were, but given the circumstances, Id take 1 game ..........
