Has anyone ever seen this gear ? Well i have worked with a gentlemen the last several days who has this gear . He said he bought it 15 yrs ago , when he first started , he is a very good umpire . He works junior college , HS all the way down to LL gms wearing this gear !! I asked him about the gear , and he claims that he has taken 90+ foul balls off this CP , no problems :wow:!!! He also use's a rawlings mask , i mean an old school solid heavy (3lb.) steel mask . He has the smaller size CP than what is being shown in the ebay listing , his CP barely covers his upper chest (not all ribs) !!! It actually looks like it is too small for him , but he swears by this gear . he has a matching set of LG as well . this company went out of business some time ago according to him . It does look like it is made decent considering the time period (15 yrs) ago .

I saw them when they were first out and they were popular with many umpires. In my opinion, the technology these days is better.

I'm not where I need to be, but not where I used to be.

He heard he was going to be a football umpire and bought all of the umpire gear he could find... ?
