I just had to post this picture of a tranquilzed bear falling out of the tree in which he was perched when discovered by residents.

They probably used an air mat to catch the bear. I saw animal control do this when I was 12. Great pic.

I think this is an oldie, but the first time I heard it...
I was BU, batter checks his swing, dugout skipper is saying "ask him" (him = me) my partner comes to me and I signal "no he didn't go"
Defensive Skipper hollars from the dugout, "if he would've hit it, it would've been a double" I grinned and laughed later, that was a good one!
BTW, no way he went.

i believe i have seen s video of this bear and it landed on a trampoline and bounced a good 15 feet before finally making contact with the not so soft ground. very funny because the bear was ok.
